Fortunately, BMW recently became a part of the Leather Working Group, a not-for-profit organization committed to a sustainable leather supply chain.
Now, BMW offers a bevy of upscale interior materials, but premium leather upholstery is by far the most sought-after in terms of seating options. As such, it's imperative that this leather be sustainable produced and ethically sourced. And with cooperation with a multi-stakeholder organization like the Leather Working Group, developing a sustainable leather supply chain is well within reach for the BMW Brand.
