Absolutely huge news to report here at BMW of Salem in Salem, OR, as our manufacturer has unveiled their incredibly highly anticipated BMW 2 Series coupe models, and because we have the aim of having these exciting and completely new BMW models in our Salem, OR showroom by early 2014, so we thought we would fill our valued area customers in on what they can expect, now that the production specifications have been made available.
The 2 Series coupes that have been revealed are the upcoming 228i and M performance model entitled the M235i. Beginning with the former, under the hood drivers will find a super turbocharged engine capable of 240 horsepower through an 8-speed automatic or 6-speed automatic transmission. It will achieve 23 miles per gallon in the city and 35 on the highway by BMW estimates, but the models have yet to be rated by the EPA.
Taking a step up in terms of performance, the new BMW M235i model will provide drivers an inline 3.0-liter six-cylinder with an insane 322 horsepower and 332 pound feet of torque, and the model will go from naught to sixty in an incredible 4.8 seconds. Upgraded performance features also include upgraded parts like adaptive suspension and sport capable braking.
These excellent new 2 Series models will provide drivers such an incredible new world of performance and apps that will keep you informed and entertained the entire time.
